Wine does not wait. It answers to the room you keep it in.
Concept design, technical drawing, manufacture and installation. Climate engineered to hold 5-14°C with stable humidity, for collections that are meant to be opened.
A cellar is not furniture. It is a climate, held steady for decades, wrapped in joinery good enough to sit in a drawing room. We build the climate first. The rest is longevity made visible.
Dual-zone refrigeration, not air conditioning. Air conditioning dries a room out and the cork goes with it. Our systems hold humidity as deliberately as they hold temperature.
Six rooms, six climates

Where a cellar can go
Most homes have the space already. It is usually a study, a landing, the void under a staircase, or a wall nobody has looked at properly.
From a sample board to a working climate
Concept & theme
You bring the theme: colours, finishes, samples, and the room it has to sit inside. We survey the space and work out what it can physically carry, cold and structurally.
3D design
The design team returns rendered images of the room as it will be built. Revisions are unlimited. Nothing goes to drawing until the render is the room you want.
Technical drawing
Dimensioned drawings, cooling load, condensate routing, glass specification, load paths. This is where a cellar stops being a picture and becomes a piece of engineering.
Manufacture
Four to eight weeks in the workshop. You are invited to visit part way through and check the piece against the render while it can still be changed.
Install & commission
Climate control goes in ahead of the final fit. Once the joinery is set, the system is balanced and the thermostatic controls are commissioned and handed over.
Four surfaces, one room
Solid brass, fumed oak, backlit onyx and bronze-tinted glass. Everything is specified to survive a cold, humid room for thirty years.
